The action never stops at our favourite poker rakeback site this weekend. On top of the event qualifying satellite frenzy (WSOP and EPO) the popular Sit and Go Madness will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (June 19th through 21st) on the felts of the world’s second largest online poker site.
With nearly $200,000 up for grabs throughout the weekend thousands of poker players are expected when the action kicks off at 4:30pm ET on Friday and concludes exactly 48 hours later. The Sit and Go Madness promotion also features a high-stakes $50,000 freeroll and Madness Raffle.
Single-table tournaments into four groups:
The 48 hours of the Full Tilt Poker promotion are divided into 24 two-hour periods. At the end of each 120 minute time block, the top seven players on the leaderboard for each sit and go group will be rewarded. There is also an Overall Leaderboard, which consists of players who log the best two-hour point tallies.
All of the qualifying sit and gos can be found in the Full Tilt Poker client under the “1-Table” tab in the “Sit & Go” lobby. Just remember that only sit and gos with green backgrounds are tracked, so choose wisely.
At the end of the promotion, the top two players on each Overall Leaderboard will qualify for a $5,000 sit and go freeroll that awards cash prizes to the top three finishers. There’s no cumulative total; your position on the Overall Leaderboard for each group is solely based on your best two-hour showing.
There is something for everyone with the Madness Freeroll on Saturday, June 27th at 4:50pm ET. Players can qualify for the Madness Freeroll by winning at least two sit and gos during the 48 hours of the promotion. You’ll automatically be registered upon recording victory in your second single-table tournament, so all you have to do is concentrate on winning.
Then, there’s the Madness Raffle where players will receive one ticket with every qualifying sit and go you cash in over the weekend (you don’t even have to win it). The grand prize up for grabs is an extra special Full Tilt Poker Deluxe Home Game Package.
