Full Tilt Poker Rakeback players and PokerStars players will both know already that these two massive poker sites have had recent software updates to include Multi-Entry tournaments for Full Tilt players and Online Poker Home Games for PokerStars. “Online Poker Home Games?” you ask, we did too as we thought the poker sites had done this to death but perhaps not…
PokerStars Home Games
PokerStars will now allow players to organise a home game that is played over the internet allowing players all over the world to have their own home game together. The details of how these home games will work are fairly straightforward with there being one manager of the “club” who will confirm (or deny) other players entering the club. Once a player is in the club they can then send invitations for tournaments, ring games etc to other players and you can play together in whatever format you want.
We have seen these types of things before but it looks like PokerStars are really making a go of it this time and company mouthpiece and occasional poker player Daniel Negreanu said:
“Nothing like PokerStars Home Games has been offered before and it’s so easy to use. You have so many options when you open up your Poker Club and you can customize it any way you want, just like you would in a home game with friends.”
Full Tilt Multi-Entry Tournaments
Full Tilt Poker Rakeback players can now play in special Multi-Entry tournaments where you cna play from more than one seat. This allows you to hedge your bets in a tournament and play up to four seats simultaneously. You will not of course be seated with yourself and if the situation arises where you have more seats than there are tables then your stacks will be merged.
Initial responses to the first tournament held this Tuesday were mixed but Full Tilt Poker are keen to push on and will be including Multi-Entry tournaments in FTOPS this February.
If you haven’t signed up to these poker sites then you enjoy 27% Full Tilt Poker Rakeback along with a $600 Sign up bonus and access to great promotions including Rake Races and Freerolls. PokerStars is one of the few sites that does not allow rakeback like the mythical iPoker Rakeback but you can still receive a $600 sign up bonus and access to our PokerStars Freeroll every month.
