Pokerstars.com Stages World’s Largest Poker Game

PokerStars have released footage of another record breaking event at the World’s Largest Poker Site. The World’s largest Poker Game featured England rugby stars, Delon Armitage, Ben Foden and James Haskell in a heads up battle between Foden and Haskell as speedster Armitage deal the cards.

The event was staged at the England Rugby training camp at Pennyhill Park in Surrey where the team where preparing for the weekend’s match against Scotland. PokerStars are an official partner of the England Rugby Team and have been looking to further engage their audience and activate their sponsorship of Martin Johnson’s struggling side.

Given the team’s recent performances there may be many out there who think the players may have done a bit more training and a little less re-raising but we are not in that group. With enormous chips to shoulder around it certainly looked like a suitable warm-up and a lot more strenuous than playing on PokerStars.com.

Haskell was left lamenting his luck as his new teammate Foden made two pair with the help of the turn and river.
