London Poker Festival Begins In September

Details have been released for the London Poker Festival, a month long series of poker tournaments that will take place in a number of casinos in London.

The festival begins on September 1^st and will carry on until 29^th September, with a total of 80 events being announced. These tournaments will be played in a selection of some of the best casinos in London, including Fox Club (Shaftsbury Ave), Aspers (Olympic Park) and Victoria Casino (Edgware Road). A combined guaranteed prize pool of £1,000,000 will be spread across all of the tournaments, with a wide range of buy-ins and game types available. A number of high profile tournaments are set to run during the festival, such as the GUKPT main event and the English Poker Open. These huge tournaments are sure to attract a few poker pros from all over the world and are not to be missed.

If tournaments aren’t your thing, there will be special cash games running alongside the tournament tables, as well as casino, backgammon and bingo tournaments. There will also be several parties going on throughout the event, so whether you’re celebrating a big win or drowning your sorrows after a sick beat, you and your friends will be sure of a good time.

If you want a shot at playing in the English Poker Open, which starts on 18^th September, you can play in a qualifying tournament every Sunday at 7pm EST on Cake Poker.
