High Stakes Action Returns to Full Tilt Poker Rakeback

Full Tilt LogoWhen the World Series of Poker rolled into town in Las Vegas, card rooms all over the world were decimated as all the big boys and girls headed to the World Series to see what they could do. From London to Macau to LA to Atlantic City all the big games were rolled up and put on hold. Even online poker was affected with the highest stakes players all looking for a bracelet.

For the month of the WSOP online poker was left to the rakeback players to enjoy without the hungriest of sharks feasting but not they are back and at Full Tilt poker rakeback the high stakes games have started with a vengeance.

Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius have renewed the durrrr challenge and it looks like the momentum Antonius had picked up prior to the WSOP has gone replaced by some losing sessions which has allowed Dwan to extend his lead by another $200,00. It looks likely that he will be adding the $500,000 prop-bet to his bankroll in the not-too-distant future.

Away from the durrrr challenge Dwan has been making hay by picking up over $900,000 in the month of August alone. The online mastermind has been rarely troubled and is looking very strong on the back of his near miss at the World Series of Poker.

Elsewhere Phil Ivey has serenely added $570k to his bankroll in August while Jared “Harrington25” Bleznik is also a big winner this month up $350k. There have been some big misses though with Luukie21 down nearly $680k in a week and Gus Hansen losing nearly $610k also in a week having had a great start to the year. Ilari Sahamies lost a $200k pot to Dwan and is stuck $590k this August and has blogged that he will be sitting out the rest of the month in response.
