How is rake apportioned to a particular player in a cash game?

The amount a player contributes is irrelevant, therefore if a player is on the small blind but folds before the flop is dealt, he will still be have deemed to have contributed. Earning PKR Points in tournaments – You get 100 PKR points for every $1 you spend in entry fees.

The entry fee for a tournament is the additional charge made by PKR for hosting the event. In most cases this fee is equivalent to ten percent of the buy-in. Points are awarded for this fee only and not for the tournament buy-in. A $10 tournament carries a $1 fee and awards 100 PKR points to the player for this fee, but points are not awarded for the $10 ‘buy-in’.

Earning PKR Points on real money tables – PKR points are awarded on raked hands played on real money tables. They are calculated against the amount that you’ve put into the pot divided between the other players at the table. That means the bigger the pot, the more PKR points everyone gets. Your points are also based on the amount that you put into the pot – so the more you contribute yourself, the more PKR Points you’ll earn in the hand.

Here are some examples of how PKR Points would be rewarded in real game situations…

Hand 1 – In a 4 handed cash game with a $50 pot raked at $2.50 a player who bet a total of $9 would receive 45 points (reflecting the 18% of the pot they contributed).

Hand 2 – In a six handed game where the rake has been capped at PKR’s maximum rake limit and a player has contributed $30 to a pot that reaches a total of $101.50 the total points awarded would be 89 (or 29.5% of the pot).

7.0 CANCELLATION/TERMINATION/TRANSFER/AMENDMENT

7.1 We may cancel or reverse any points not properly issued. We may refuse to issue points or redeem rewards or we may cancel points already issued to you if we consider you to be in default under the terms of the Terms of Service and License Agreement, if we have reason to believe that you caused or allowed a breach of the conditions of use or a breach of these Terms and Conditions, or for any other reason.

7.2 At our discretion we may, but are not obligated to offer special promotions or additional opportunities to earn points at the rate and on the terms and conditions as we may determine from time to time.

7.3 We reserve the right to cancel, change or substitute the rewards or the Program at any time with or without notice. Required point levels to redeem rewards are subject to change with or without notice.

7.4 We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions including without limitation assignment and reassignment of tiers and associated rights, at any time without notice. We may establish additional tiers of the Program. We may also terminate, amalgamate and otherwise change tiers of the Program. We may introduce fees or change the fees that we charge for participation in the Program, a tier of the Program, to move tiers within the Program or for optional services. We may change the rate at which you earn points or otherwise change the calculation of points.

7.5 Fraud or abuse relating to the earning of points in the Program or redemption of rewards, including fraud or abuse related to transfers of points, may result in forfeiture of earned points as well as cancellation of a Program Account.

7.6 If for any reason we cancel any Members account enrolled in the Program, all points earned in the Program Account will be forfeited. All Members accounts must be active and not cancelled in order to participate in the Program.

7.7 Points earned in the Program Account do not constitute property of the Member and are not transferable except as permitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Points have no cash or monetary value. For greater certainty, Points permitted by these Terms and Conditions and the redemption rates for Points will not be considered as a cash or monetary value of points or the program.

7.8 If a Member cancels any accounts, any points earned in the Program Account will be forfeited.

8.0 GENERAL

8.1 All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for the Program or the eligibility of points for earning or redemption of rewards including transfer of points to a Third Party Program, will be resolved by us in our sole discretion.

PokerStars – FPP Information

Accumulating Frequent Player Points is as easy as playing poker. For each qualifying raked real money poker hand you play on PokerStars, you earn FPP credits. Every time you play real money multi-table poker tournaments that has a tournament fee, you earn FPP credits. Every time you play a Sit & Go tournament that include a tournament fee, you earn FPP credits.

Important Note: FPP credits are credited at the end of a hand. So if you leave a table before the hand is completed, you may not receive the FPP(or FPP credits) for that hand. To ensure that you are properly credited, please “Sit Out” until the start of the next hand, and then leave the table.

1. Earn FPP credits for cash game play

First Frequent Player Point (FPP) is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches:

• $0.40 for fixed limit poker games with stakes $1/$2 and lower
• $0.40 for NL/PL poker games with blinds $1/$2 and lower
• $0.40 for “1-on-1″ poker games (this applies only to “1-on-1″ tables, not to regular tables which have only two players seated)
• $1.00 for all other games

 Second FPP is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches:

• $2.00 for all 6-max tables (this doesn’t apply for games being played 6- handed at 10/9/8 player tables – just 6-max tables)
• $3.00 for all other tables

Third FPP is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches $5.00.

2. Earn FPP credits for tournament play

Five (5) FPP credits are awarded for each $1 in tournament fees paid.
For example, playing in a poker tournament with $20 buy-in and $2 tournament fee, each player will be awarded 10 FPP credits. *Note that partial Frequent Player Points are always rounded to the nearest whole number.

In a $5 buy-in Sit & Go poker tournament with only a $0.50 fee, 3 FPP credits (instead of 2.5) will be awarded to each player who played poker in the tournament.
In a $5 buy-in 4-player Heads-Up Sit & Go poker tournament with only a $0.25 fee, 1 FPP (instead of 1.25) will be awarded to each player who played poker in the tournament.
