What does MGR mean?
MGR =Monthly Gross Revenue (effectively your rake)
Most online poker rooms use MGR- to determine the amount each player has paid in rake, and consequently how much rakeback each is entitled to.

How is MGR Calculated?
Most sites calculate MGR by dividing from each hand played, the total rake taken by the total number of players dealt into that hand. Add all those numbers up over a month’s play, and hey presto you have your MGR.
There are a few different ways that poker rooms calculate your rake and therefore your MGR such as Dealt and Contributed Method

What is the Dealt Rakeback Method
For example if there were 10 players dealt into a hand, including you and the rake taken out of that hand was $0.50 then 5 Cents would be added to your MGR, regardless as to whether you posted a blind or contributed at all. If you were involved in 1000 hands in a given month that went exactly the same way, then your MGR for that month would be 5 cents x 1000 hands or $50.

What is the Contributed Rakeback Method
A variation on this MGR calculation is to only divide the total rake taken in a hand by the number of players who actually contributed to that rake. Therefore if you were dealt cards, but decided to fold pre-flop, you will not be entitled to any of the rake taken out of that hand.
For example if the rake for a pot is $3 and there are six players, but only three players contributed, only they will get a portion of the rake. The $3 rake will be credited to the three players that stayed in the hand $1 per person.

What is the Weighted Contribution Rakeback Method
Similar to the contributed method, players must contribute to the pot to earn rake however the rake credit is weighted by the percentage of the pot each player contributed.
For example in a multi-way pot that had a $2 rake. If a player has only contributed 25 percent of the pot, you will only receive credit for 25 percent of the rake (50 Cents), or $0.50.
Each month, you will get a portion of your MGR back, based on the amount of rakeback percentage that specific to your offer.
