What is Rakeback?
Poker sites charge rake from players for every hand and for every tournament. This is their income to keep their site running. Rakeback Poker affiliates like www.rakeback.co.uk return a percentage of the rake a player has paid back into their accounts. Rakeback is a third party loyalty program that rewards players for every real money hand they play.
For Example:
In a real money hand where the total pot is $10 the standard rake taken would be 5% or $0.50. If a player has a rakeback deal they could expect to receive a percentage (normally around 30%) of their contribution to the rake. If the player has contributed half of the pot and so half of the rake they would be eligible to receive rakeback on half of $0.50. Rakeback generated = $0.25 X 30% = $0.075
